Pull the thread directly forward along the slotted
threading path.
Following the slotted threading path, pull the
thread down to the thread check spring (inside)
and lead it across from right to left. Pull thread
upward and slip into the slotted hole of the
thread take-up lever from right to left.
. Draw the thread down through the lower thread
guide, needle bar thread guide and pass thread
through the eye of the needle from front to back.
Pull at least 10 cm (3") of thread through the
needle.
DRAWING UP THE LOWER
THREAD
al Raise the presser foot lever.
Hold the upper thread loosely in left hand and
turn the flywheel towards you one complete turn,
with right hand.
Draw the end of the lower thread up through the
hole in the needle plate by pulling the upper
thread.
Pull the end of the lower thread out of the needle
plate.
. Lead about 10 cm (3") of both thread under
presser foot, towards the rear of the machine.
. Tirer le fil d'avant en arriére en passant dans la
rainure.
. Continuer a tirer le fil dans la rainure de haut en
bas, a droite de la plaque de séparation, et le
passer dans le ressort compensateur de droite a
gauche. Remonter le fil 4 gauche de la plaque
de séparation et l'enfiler de droite 4 gauche dans
la rainure du tendeur de fil .
. Passer le fil dans le guide-fil inférieur et le guide-
fil de la bride aiguille. Enfiler l'aiguille d'avant en
arriére.
Faire dépasser le fil de 10 cm en arriére.

REMONTER LE FIL INFERIEUR
Lever la barre presse-étoffe.
Tenir le fil supérieur de la main gauche et faire
un tour de volant de la main droite.
Tirer le fil pour que la boucle formée par le fil
inférigur apparaisse a la surface de la barre
aiguille.
Dégager la boucle a la main.
. Passer les deux fils sous le pied et les faire
dépasser de 10 cm environ en arriére.
