Collision-Avoidance Assist (paral-
lel exit)

A: Emergency braking
僅 To warn the driver of a collision, the
warning light on the side view mirror
will blink and a warning message will
appear on the cluster. At the same
time, an audible warning will sound
and the steering wheel will vibrate (if
equipped). It assists in braking control
to help prevent collision with the vehi-
cle in the blind spot area.
僅 Collision-Avoidance Assist will be
operated under the following circum-
stances.
- Your vehicle speed: 60~200 km/h
(40~120 mph)
- Both lane markings of the driving
lane are detected.
WARNING
僅 Collision-Avoidance Assist will be can-
celled under the following circum-
stances:
- Your vehicle enters the next lane by
a certain distance
- Your vehicle is away from the colli-
sion risk
- The steering wheel is sharply
steered
- The brake pedal is depressed
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
is operating
僅 After Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance
Assist operation or changing lane, you

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
must drive to the centre of the lane.
The function will not operate if the
vehicle is not driven in the centre of
the lane.

mirror will blink and a warning mes-
sage will appear on the cluster. At the
same time, an audible warning will
sound and the steering wheel will
vibrate (if equipped).
僅 Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist
will operate when your vehicle speed
is below 3 km/h (2 mph) and the
speed of the vehicle in the blind spot
area is above 5 km/h (3 mph).
僅 Emergency braking will be assisted to
help prevent collision with the vehicle
in the blind spot area.
