Call transfer using intercom

While on an outside call, you can use the intercom feature to transfer the call
from one device to another.
To transfer an outside call using intercom:
1. When on an outside call, press MENU/
2. Press
or
CID
/SELECT. The call is automatically put on hold.
MENU
3. Your handset shows Intercom to:. Use the dialing keys to
enter a handset number (1-5). Your handset shows
Calling HS X. The destination handset rings and shows
HS X is calling.
4. To answer the intercom call on the other device, press
HOME/
FLASH
handset. The outside call is still on hold. Both handsets now
show Intercom.
5. To transfer the call, press
handset back in the telephone base or charger. The other
handset automatically connects to the outside call.
- OR -
You can let the other device join you on the outside call
in a three-way conversation. Press
originating or destination handset.
- OR -
The called party can end the intercom call by pressing
placing the other handset back in the telephone base or charger. The outside
call continues with the originating handset.
Notes:
If you want to cancel an intercom call and reconnect to the outside call before the destination handset answers, press
f
OFF/
on the originating handset.
CANCEL
If the called device does not answer the intercom call within 100 seconds, or if the device is in use, on a call or out of
f
range, the calling handset shows Unable to call and returns to the outside call.
OFF/CANCEL or MUTE/
You can press
f
ringer.
Only one intercom call can be established at a time.
f
to highlight Intercom, then press
DIR

CELL or /SPEAKER on the destination
OFF/
DELETE
.
SELECT
or place the
CANCEL
HOME/
FLASH
on the destination handset to temporarily silence the intercom
