The Config editor

Using the Config editor, you can edit, save, test and finalize configurations for the RF1000 and
RF1100 readers.
Layout of the Config editor
The user interface of the Config editor is divided into the following areas:

This area indicates if the currently open configuration
• has already been finalized ("released configuration") or
• is still in draft mode ("draft configuration").
The state of the configuration affects the view of the following area (
Your Workflow / Your Options
If your configuration is in draft mode, you see in this area which steps you still need to or
should take to create, test and release a valid configuration (Your Workflow).
• 1. Complete configuration
You see in this area which steps you still need to take to obtain a valid configuration.
• 2. Test configuration
You can use the buttons in this area to test your valid configuration and save it as "*.bec2" file.
• 3. Prepare for deployment
You can use the button in this area to finalize your valid configuration (save as "*.balcfg" file)
and export it.
