Clean the buffer plate
Introduction
When the printer is polluting your media with for example uncured ink or glue, check the buffer
plate. In case of pollution, you can clean the buffer plate.

Before you begin
Use Colorado 1630 prescribed:
• Microflex gloves for handling ink
• Lint free cloths
• Cleaning liquid (IPA)
NOTE
For information on the prescribed maintenance materials, see
maintenance materials on page
CAUTION
Wear the prescribed gloves when contact with ink or maintenance materials is possible. Gloves
should always overlap sleeves. Follow the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines carefully in
order to ensure maximum safety.
Procedure
1. Put on the Colorado 1630 approved gloves.
2. Go to the media input side and open the media cover.
