Run the engine until warm.
Set the desired idle speed by turning the idle speed adjusting screw

Turn counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed.
Turn clockwise to increase the idle speed.

Sit on the vehicle in the riding position and determine the distance
upper edge of your boot and the shift lever.

If the distance does not meet specifications:
Adjust the basic position of the shift lever.

Mount the shift lever on the shift shaft in the required position and engage the
gearing.

The range of adjustment is limited.
The shift lever must not come into contact with any other vehicle compo-
nents during the shift procedure.
Mount and tighten the screw.
