15.8 Remote Diagnosis
Customer service can access your
appliance via remote diagnosis if you
contact customer service with your
request, your appliance is connected
to the Home Connect server and
remote diagnosis is available in the
country in which you are using the
appliance. .

15.9 Personal Data Protection

regarding the protection of personal
data.
When your device connects to a home
network connected to the internet for
the first time, it displays the following

data categories to the Home
Connect server (initial registration):
¡Unambiguous identification of the device
ready (consisting of device keys
and the MAC address of the built-
in
Wi-Fi communication module). ¡
Security certificate of the Wi-Fi
communication module (for the
information-technical security of
the connection).
¡The current software and hardware
version of your home appliance. ¡
Status of any previous
reset to factory settings.
The use of the Home Connect
functionalities is prepared during the
first registration. This registration
should only be carried out when you
want to use the Home Connect
functionalities for the first time.
Remark:Please note that the Home
Connect functionalities can only be
used in combination with the Home
Connect app. Information on data
protection can be called up in the
Home Connect app.
