Pre-Maintenance
Procedures

Raising the Seat

Make sure that the motion-control levers are locked in
the P
position. Lift the seat forward.
ARK
You can access the following components by raising
the seat:
Serial plate
Service decal
Seat-adjustment bolts
Fuel filter
Battery and battery cables

Lubrication

Greasing the Bearings

Service Interval: Every 25 hours—Grease all
lubrication points.
Grease Type: No. 2 lithium grease
1.
Park the machine on a level surface and
disengage the blade-control switch.
2.
Move the motion-control levers outward to the
P
position, shut off the engine, remove the
ARK
key, and wait for all moving parts to stop before
leaving the operating position.

Clean the grease fittings

Note:
Make sure to scrape any paint off the
front of the fitting(s).
