IMPORTANT: Never engage the PTO if
mower is plugged with grass or other
material. This may cause damage to the
electric clutch.
6. Move throttle to fast position.
7. Move steering levers forward to obtain a
slow ground speed.
8. Turn OFF the PTO switch to disengage
mower.
9. When you know how to operate the unit,
select a speed appropriate to your
mowing conditions.
PARKING
To park the unit:
1. Return steering levers to neutral. Turn
off PTO.
2. Move throttle lever to slow position.
3. Engage parking brake.
4. Lower the attachment.
5. Turn ignition key to off position and
remove key.
CAUTION: Do not engage parking
brake while unit is moving. Internal
brake damage will result.
TO PUSH THE UNIT
(Figure 8)
Place transaxles in bypass mode to move
unit with the engine off.
NOTICE: Ensure both transaxles are set to
neutral before pushing the unit.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT tow unit. Transport
the unit on an appropriate truck or trailer.
1. Shut off engine.
2. Pull the right and left bypass levers to
lockout detent position.
WARNING: Do not bypass
transmission when on a slope.
3. Disengage parking brake.
4. Push unit to desired location.
5. Engage parking brake.
6. Return the right and left bypass levers to
the drive position.

TO MOVE THE OPERATOR
PLATFORM
(Figure 9)
To rotate platform up:
1. Stop unit, disengage PTO and wait for all
moving parts to stop.
2. Engage parking brake.
3. Clean any accumulated debris from
platform.
4. Rotate platform up until platform latch
fully engages lock bolt on platform.
To rotate platform down:
1. Stop unit, disengage PTO and wait for
all moving parts to stop.
2. Engage parking brake.
3. Release platform latch.
4. Rotate platform down into standing
position.
CAUTION: Platform will drop
when latch is released. Stand
clear when releasing platform.
