NOTE
If the length of the control rod is changed, it must be adjusted as detailed in Figure 6-5,
Figure 6-6, and Figure 6-7, otherwise the control push-rod can be reconnected as is.
Installation and adjustment of a new control push-rod may require that rotorcraft controls
are moved into position. See Airbus Aircraft Maintenance Manual task 29-00-00, 2-1 for
instructions on connecting and disconnecting hydraulic ground power required to move
controls.
1. Verify rod-end bearings are free to operate. Clean as required.
2. Attach the control push-rod end to the servo output arm.
3. Attach the control push-rod end to the rotorcraft control linkage.
4. Proceed to Figure 7.2 for the GFS 83 configuration and checkout procedures.
