8.1 Maintenance Records

After conducting required return to service procedures in accordance with this document and updating
aircraft records in accordance with this section and in compliance with 14 CFR 43.9 and 14 CFR 91.417,
the aircraft may be returned to service.
Record the following information in the appropriate rotorcraft maintenance logs:
• Version number(s) of software loaded during maintenance
• Part and serial numbers of any replacement equipment
• Other relevant rotorcraft maintenance information
Verify that replacement LRUs' software versions match those in the rotorcraft permanent records in
Appendix A.

8.2 Configuration Mode Functional Checkout

The following procedures must be performed with external electrical power applied to the rotorcraft and
the GMC 605H in Configuration mode. Refer to Section 3.3 for instructions on how to enter Configuration
mode.
8.2.1

Audio Test

1. Navigate to the TEST ' AUDIO page on the GMC 605H.
2. Select PLAY to play the autopilot disconnect audio tone.
3. Verify that the autopilot disconnect tone is played through the cockpit speakers and headsets.
4. Select STOP to stop playing the autopilot disconnect audio tone.
