This section provide information to assist troubleshooting if fault codes are displayed on the GDU or
GMC 605H or problems occur after completing system maintenance. Refer to Appendix A of this
document retained in the aircraft permanent records for a list of the interfaced equipment and system
configuration data. When troubleshooting the GFC 600H FCS, refer to wire routing diagrams, plug and pin
descriptions, communication port settings saved in the configuration data, and equipment locations
retained in Appendix A of this document.
NOTE
Sections 6, 7, and 8 provide detailed instructions on equipment removal and replacement,
configuration and checkout, and return-to-service procedures. Anytime a GFC 600H FCS
component or LRU is removed, swapped, or replaced, the technician must follow the
procedures given in these sections to ensure proper operation of the system.
NOTE
Before troubleshooting, ensure that system configuration settings match those recorded in
the completed GFC 600H FCS Configuration Log that is retained in the rotorcraft
permanent records (Appendix A).
