Possible Cause
The GMC is not receiving GPS and
GMU sensor data.
The GMC is not receiving GMU
sensor data.
The GMC is not receiving GPS
data.
The GMC is receiving GPS and
GMU sensor data, but data is
invalid.
An internal error has occurred with
the GMC 605H AHRS sensor.
The internal GMC 605H AHRS
sensor has experienced an
accelerometer failure.
The pitch offset value is outside the
pre-defined range (e.g., a zero
pitch/roll calibration with a non-zero
pitch value).
The roll offset value is outside the
pre-defined range (e.g., a zero
pitch/roll calibration with a non-zero
roll value).
• Ensure the rotorcraft is stationary.
• Ensure the GMC 605H is mounted
securely and is sufficiently rigid.
• Ensure a valid GPS and Air Data
source is available to the GMC 605H.
• Ensure that the configuration settings
match those retained with the rotorcraft
records (Appendix A).
• Power cycle the GFC 600H FCS by
cycling the FCS circuit breaker.
• Ensure the GMC 605H, GFS 83,
GSU 75H, and GMU 44( ) connectors
are securely mated to the units.
• Ensure wiring is correct.
• Contact Garmin.
• Ensure that the configuration settings
match those retained with the rotorcraft
records (Appendix A).
• Power cycle the GFC 600H FCS by
cycling the FCS circuit breaker.
• Reload software in accordance with
Section 3.3.1.
• Contact Garmin.
• If message persists, replace the
GMC 605H unit. Refer to Section 6.1
for removal of the unit.
• Ensure that the configuration settings
match those retained with the rotorcraft
records (Appendix A).
• Power cycle the GFC 600H FCS by
cycling the FCS circuit breaker.
• Contact Garmin.
• If message persists, replace the
GMC 605H unit. Refer to Section 6.1
for removal of the unit.
• Ensure the rotorcraft is level and repeat
the calibration test.
• If message persists, replace the
GMC 605H unit. Refer to Section 6.1
for removal of the unit.
• Ensure the rotorcraft is level and repeat
the calibration test.
• If message persists, replace the
GMC 605H unit. Refer to Section 6.1
for removal of the unit.
