INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SETTING:
After configuring the engine control unit as described above, to take advantage of all the features of the MGQS accessory it
is advisable to check from the Instrument panel / Vehicle menu that the "MGQS down" mode is ON. This may not be by
default and therefore the quick shift would only work in upshifts.

Therefore, by switching from MGQS Down OFF to MGQS Down ON, the User will enable the operation of quick shift in the
downshift mode without using the
clutch.
Briefly pressing the MODE UP or MODE DOWN buttons, selects the "MGQS Down" entry in the "Vehicle"
menu.
Selecting the "MGQS Down" entry by briefly pressing the MODE RIGHT button changes the activation status (from OFF to
ON or vice
versa).
Briefly press the MODE SET button to go back to the main
MENU.
MGQS ICON KEY (see also the Vehicle's Use and Maintenance Manual):
White icon = MGQS ON ( available and enabled from the instrument cluster menu).
Grey icon = MGQS OFF (disabled from the instrument cluster menu).
Fixed orange icon = MGQS configured correctly but not usable for the current conditions of the engine (e.g. the gear is first
or neutral, the rpm are too low or too high, the clutch is engaged, the Cruise Control is activated and under adjustment).
Red icon = MGQS system malfunction.
