CX208/212 User's Guide
Communication Ports
CX208/212 printers are equipped with a standard (not EPP or ECP) Cen-
tronics parallel and an RS232C communication port, wired as shown below.

Standard Printer Cables
The following standard cables are available for CX2xx printers:
Serial Port Parameters
CX208/212 printers are configured as Data Terminal Equipment (DTE)
equipment, and use Request-To-Send/Clear-To-Send (RTS/CTS) handshak-
ing or X-On/X-Off flow control (control characters are DC2 and DC4). The
serial port supports the following parameters:
