0BReplace a Recorder on a Rimage DiscLab System
g. Observe the disc position.
Important! The outer edge of the disc
should match the recessed edge of the
recorder tray on the front and back of
the recorder tray.
h. Do one of the following:

If the recorder is out of alignment, continue
to the Align the Recorder section.

If the alignment looks good, continue to the

Align the Recorder
Note: Perform these steps only if the recorder is out of alignment.
1. Turn the leadscrew clockwise to move the lift arm up enough to clear the recorder tray.
2. Move the recorder forward or backward until the disc is centered in the recorder tray.
Important! Slide the recorder, not the recorder tray.
3. Turn the leadscrew counterclockwise to lower the disc toward the recorder tray.
4. Check the alignment again. Refer to steps 5g – 5h of the Check the Recorder Alignment section.
Prepare the DiscLab for Use
1. Turn the leadscrew clockwise to move the lift arm away from the recorder tray.
2. Press the recorder button. The recorder tray closes.
3. Press and hold the operator button. The lift arm moves up and drops the disc into the output bin.
4. Power off the system.
a. If you have a DLN5200, press the power button at the front of the autoloader. The embedded control
center powers off.
b. Turn the power switch to the 'off' position at the back of the system. The DiscLab powers off.
c. Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
5. Remove the side covers.
Warning: To avoid the danger of electrical shock, do not proceed unless you have powered off the system.
a. Remove the Torx T10 screws (Qty. DL5200/DLN5200 = 8, DiscLab = 4) from the left side cover.
b. Remove the left side cover and set it aside.
