0BReplace a Recorder on a Rimage DiscLab System

Position the right side cover on the DiscLab.
Important! The right side cover on some DLN5200 autoloaders has an air vent. If you are working on
a DLN5200 and there is an air vent, position the air vent as shown in the center photo.

Insert and tighten the Torx T10 screws (Qty. DL5200/DLN5200 = 8, DL = 4) to secure the right side cover.

Power on the system.
Warning: To avoid the danger of electrical shock, do not proceed unless you have installed the side
covers.
a.
Connect the power cord to the power outlet.
b.
Turn the power switch to the 'on' position at the back of the system.
c.
If you have a DLN5200, press the power button at the front of the autoloader. The embedded control
center powers on and the system begins to initialize.

After the autoloader initializes, press and hold the operator button until the operator panel displays [BUTTON
DIAGNOSTICS] and the printer tray opens.
4.
Release the operator button.
5.
Check the alignment of the recorder.
a.
Press the operator button four times and hold
on the fourth press until the operator panel
displays [04 – JOG LIFT DIAGNOSTIC].
b.
Press the operator button one time. The
printer tray closes.
c.
Press the recorder button to open the recorder
tray.
d.
Place a disc on the recorder tray.
e.
Press and release the operator button until the
lift arm is near the recorder tray.
f.
Turn the leadscrew counterclockwise to lower
the lift arm until the disc snaps onto the gripper
fingers.
