❖ [Available PostScript Memory:]
The memory capacity of the printer is displayed. Normally this does not have
to be set here.
❖ [Output Protocol:]
Select the data communication protocol. When connected to a parallel inter-
face, select "ASCII". An error may occur if other protocols are used.
❖ [Installable Options]
Set connected option devices. The following items are installable:
• "LS3000R (LCIT)"
• "LS3000R (LCOT)"
• "Separator"

Print Setting Details

The necessary print settings, such as paper size or print orientation, can be set
when printing from applications.
The print settings in the applications become the initial settings of the application.
[Layout] tab
Set the print orientation and the order in which the pages are printed.
❖ [Orientation]
Specify the print orientation. When changing the specified orientation and se-
lecting "Rotated Landscape", the paper will be rotated 90 degrees counter-
clockwise and printed.
❖ [Print on Both Sides(Duplex)]
Prints on both sides of sheets, Select one of the following settings:
• None
Disables Duplex Printing.
• Flip on Long Edge
Prints output so that you can open it from the long edge when bound along
the long edge.
• Flip on Short Edge
Prints output so that you can open it from the short edge when bound
along the short edge.
Limitation
❒ Duplex printing is possible on the following paper sizes only: A4K, 8
11"K and B5 JISK. If other sizes are selected, the machine will print them in
normal printing mode.
