PostScript3 printer driver - Setting Up for Printing
❖ [Print Job]
When select to "Store file", the print data is stored in HDD on the machine.
Limitation
❒ To apply the specified finishing procedures: on the [Paper] tab, set [Orienta-

tion] to [Portrait]. Finishing procedures (such as duplex printing) for data
that accumulates while [Orientation] on the [Paper] tab is set to [Landscape]
cannot be completed as specified. To apply the specified finishing proce-
dures: on the [Paper] tab, set [Orientation] to [Portrait].
❒ The [Orientation] setting of some applications (such as MS Word) overrides
the driver's [Orientation] setting. However, the driver's [Orientation] setting
overrides the [Orientation] setting of other applications (such as Notepad
and WordPad.)
Note
❒ You can set a file name and the password for the data.
❒ Pages created using tabulation or similar applications must be sent sheet
by sheet. The book printing functions cannot be used with data created by
such applications.
❒ Settings that can be made on the machine (Paper feed tray, Number of
prints, etc.) become invalid, even if specified by the printer driver. For de-
tails, see Operating Instructions.
❖ [User Code:]
Use this to set a user code for print logging.
Enter a user code using up to eight digits. A user code identifies a group of
users and allows you to check the number of sheets printed under each code
with SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin.
