Table for location of i-Size child
seats
The table gives a recommendation for which
i-Size child seats suit which locations, and for
what size of child.
Type of child seat Front seat (with deactivated airbag,
i-Size child seats
i-U: Suitable for i-Size "universal" child seat, front-facing and rear-facing.
X: Not suitable for universally approved child seats.
A Volvo recommends that children travel in a rear-facing child seat until as late an age as possible, at least until 3-4 years of age.
B Volvo recommends: BeSafe iZi Kid X2 i-Size (type approval E4-129R-000002).
