Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible. Remove the
chain from the rear sprocket.

Cover the components to protect them against damage.

Hold the rear wheel and remove the wheel spindle.

Pull the rear wheel back until the brake caliper bracket is sus-
pended freely between the brake disc and rim.

Danger of accidents Reduced effectiveness of brakes
due to damaged brake discs.

Always lay down the wheel in such a way that the
brake discs are not damaged.

Take the rear wheel out of the swingarm.

Do not operate the foot brake lever when the rear wheel
is removed.
