cables; all devices are jumpered for
Cable Select.

About Cable Select

The Cable Select jumper position sets the PlexCombo drive to use the CSEL signal
from the IDE interface for configuration. This signal automatically selects the correct
Master/Slave setting for the PlexCombo. To use CSEL, you must have:
• A computer that supports CSEL.
• A special CSEL cable for IDE.

NOTE: The IDE cable supplied by Plextor does not support CSEL. To use CSEL and
Cable Select, you'll have to purchase another cable.

How to Install the PlexCombo
Set the PlexCombo's mode jumper
to Cable Select, and connect it to the
end of the cable from the computer's
IDE interface connector.
