Troubleshooting: General
Solutions
Make sure that a CSEL-compatible
IDE cable is used if you want to
use the PlexCombo with jumper
set to Cable Select.
Ensure the jumpers on both drives
are set to Cable Select.
Refer to application documentation
on how to unlock the eject feature.
Turn OFF the computer power.
Then, at the PlexCombo's front
panel, insert a thin object such as
the emergency eject tool or a
paper clip into the emergency eject
hole and eject the tray.
Your PlexCombo ships from the
factory with no DMA jumper
installed. This means the drive is
set to Ultra DMA, and this setting
should work in most cases.
However, if the computer hangs or
crashes, change the PlexCombo to
DMA by installing the DMA jumper
across the two pins. (See page 16.
