9 SERVICE SCHEDULE
Check that the throttle cables are undamaged, routed without sharp bends, and set
correctly.
Clean the air filter and air filter box.
Change the glass fiber yarn filling in the main silencer.
Service the fork.
Perform the shock absorber service.
Check the tightness of the easily accessible, safety-relevant screws and nuts.
Check the idle speed.
Final check: Check the vehicle for operating safety and take a test ride.
Make a service entry in the KTM Dealer.net.

Change the front brake fluid.
Change the rear brake fluid.
Change the hydraulic clutch fluid.
Lubricate the steering head bearing.
Service the fork.
Perform the shock absorber service.
Check/set the carburetor components.
Change the needle jet.
Perform minor engine service. (Check the reed valve housing, reed valve, and intake flange.
Check the clutch. Under difficult operating conditions: Change the piston and check the
cylinder and Z dimension.)
Perform the intermediate engine service. (Change the piston and check the cylinder and Z
dimension. Check the exhaust control for functioning and smooth operation.)
Perform major engine service including removing and installing the engine. (Change the con-
necting rod, conrod bearing, and crank pin. Check the transmission and shift mechanism.
Change all engine bearings.)
