Follow the correspondence table of the pin numbers and buttons below,
execute steps 2 and 3 in the same way for 2 through 16 pins.

Connect the RS-232C tool to the RS-232 connector.
LOOP ON appears.
6.
Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 8:REMOTE.
7.
Detach the RS-232C tool.
9:LAN
Items Required
• LAN cable
• Computer
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 9:LAN, then press the VALUE knob.
2.
Connect the computer to the CONTROL connector using a LAN cable.
LAN Status: displayed on the screen changes from Not Connected to
Connected.
3.
Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 9:LAN.
10:FAN
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 10:FAN, then press the VALUE knob.
The rpm value for FAN appears.
2.
Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 10:FAN.
11:VIDEO I/O
Items Required
• Monitor (A) (capable of 1080p display, HDCP-compatible and equipped
with an HDMI input connector)
• Monitor (B) (capable of 1080p display and equipped with an SDI input
connector)
• SDI output device (capable of outputting 1080/59.94i or p)
* VR-50HD, V-1SDI, V-60HD or etc.
• HDMI output device (capable of outputting 1080i or p, 720p, 59.94, or 50)
* VR-50HD, V-1SDI, V-60HD or etc.
• RGB output device (computer or etc.)
• SDI cable x 1 to 2
• HDMI cable x 2
• RGB cable
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 11:VIDEO I/O, then press VALUE knob.
2.
Connect the monitor (B) to the SDI OUT 1 connector and the monitor (A)
to the HDMI OUT 1 connector.
3.
Turn the VALUE knob to highlight COLOR BAR OUT and verify that a
color bar is displayed on the monitors (A and B).
* It takes a few seconds for the signal to be output.
4.
Execute steps 2 and 3 in the same way for the SDI OUT 2, HDMI OUT 2
and MULTI-VIEW connectors.
5.
Connect the SDI output device to the SDI IN 1 connector.
* Change the connection of the SDI output device to the SDI IN 2, 3, and 4
connectors in the sequence of the test.
6.
Highlight SDI IN 1 and input the video signal to the SDI IN 1 connector
and verify that the output picture is displayed on the monitors.
7.
Execute steps 5 and 6 in the same way for the SDI IN 2, 3, and 4
connectors.
* SDI IN 2, 3, and 4 correspond to the SDI IN 2, 3, and 4 connectors.
8.
Detach the SDI output device.
9.
Connect the HDMI output device to the HDMI IN 5 connector.
* Connect the monitor (A) to the HDMI OUT 1 or 2 connector.
* Change the connection of the HDMI output device to the HDMI IN 6 connector
in the sequence of the test.
10. Highlight HDMI IN 5 and input the video signal with HDCP to the HDMI
IN 5 connector and verify that the output picture is displayed on the
monitor.
* Because the video signal with HDCP is input, the output picture is not output
from the SDI OUT 2 connector.
11. Highlight HDMI IN 6 and execute step 10 in the same way for the HDMI
IN 6 connector.
* Because the video signal with HDCP is input, the output picture is not output
from the SDI OUT 2 connector.
12. Detach the HDMI output device.
13. Connect the RGB output device to the RGB/COMPONENT IN 6
connector.
14. Highlight RGB IN and input the video signal to the RGB/COMPONENT
IN 6 connector and verify that the output picture is displayed on the
monitors.
15. Detach the RGB output device.
16. Detach the monitors (A and B).
17. Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 11:VIDEO I/O.
12:AUDIO I/O
Items Required
• Headphones
• Amp-equipped monitor speakers
• Audio signal output device
• SDI output device (capable of outputting SDI embedded audio of 1080/
59.94i or p)
* V-1SDI, V-60HD or etc.
* When using the V-1SDI, a display monitor is required separately for TEST
TONE output setting.
• HDMI output device (capable of outputting HDMI embedded audio of
1080i or p, 720p, 59.94, or 50)
* V-1SDI, V-60HD, VR-4HD or etc.
* When using the V-1SDI, a display monitor is required separately for TEST
TONE output setting.
• HDMI cable
• SDI cable
• XLR cable
• RCA phono cable
