4.
Turn the H/PGM-CTR knob clockwise by five clicks and verify that the
LEDs of the SIG/PEAK indicator light up red in sequence from the right,
and then turn it counterclockwise by five clicks and verify that the LEDs
of the SIG/PEAK indicator go dark in sequence from the right.
* When turning it counterclockwise first, the LEDs of the SIG/PEAK indicator
light up green and turning it clockwise makes the LEDs go dark.
5.
Turn the V/PST-CTR knob clockwise by five clicks and verify that the left
LEDs (2) of the video fader go dark in the sequence of up and down, and
then turn it counterclockwise by five clicks and verify that the LEDs of the
COMP/LMT indicator go dark in sequence from the right.
6.
Press EXIT and verify that the HDCP LED (lit in red) goes dark.
7.
Press the lighted button to make it or LED go dark.
* The buttons can be pressed in any order.
* When the following buttons are pressed, their conditions will change as follows.
Press each button until it goes dark.
PinP 1, PinP 2, PGM/A 1 to 8 and PST/B 1 to 8: red -> green -> dark
AUX/MEMORY 1 to 8: red -> green -> blue -> dark
MODE: green -> blue -> dark
8.
Press the VALUE knob and verify that the LCD screen goes dark.
When all buttons and LEDs go dark, MENU flashes in green.
9.
Press MENU to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that
OK is displayed at the right of 3:LED/SW/ENC.
4:SD CARD/USB R/W
Items Required
• USB memory device
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 4:SD CARD/USB R/W, then press the
VALUE knob.
2.
Connect the USB memory device to the USB MEMORY connector.
3.
Press the VALUE knob.
The test is executed automatically. If no problem is found, OK appears.
4.
Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 4:SD CARD/USB R/W.
5.
Detach the USB memory device.
5:VIDEO FADER SET
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 5:VIDEO FADER SET, then press the
VALUE knob.
2.
Flip the video fader all the way to the rear side and press the VALUE
knob.
The maximum value of the video fader is set.
3.
Flip the video fader all the way to the front side and press the VALUE
knob.
The minimum value of the video fader is set and COMPLETE Press
[EXIT] is displayed.
4.
Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 5:VIDEO FADER SET.

6:VOLUME
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 6:VOLUME, then press the VALUE
knob.
2.
Flip the video fader all the way to the rear side.
The maximum value (2047) is detected and * is displayed at the left of the
VIDEO FADER value.
3.
Flip the video fader all the way to the front side.
The minimum value (0) is detected and * is displayed at the right of the
VIDEO FADER value.
4.
Turn the AUDIO MIXER 1 to 5/6, MASTER OUTPUT, TIME, LEVEL and
GAIN knob from maximum to minimum in this sequence.
When the maximum value (127) and minimum value (0) are detected,
* is displayed at the left and right of the value for each component
displayed on the screen.
When testing of all volume controls on the top panel has finished,
MENU lights up green.
5.
In the same way, turn the PHONES knob on the front panel from
maximum to minimum.
When the maximum value (127) and minimum value (0) are detected,
* is displayed at the left and right of the value for the PHONES LV and
MENU flashes green.
6.
Press MENU to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that
OK is displayed at the right of 6:VOLUME.
7:LCD
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 7:LCD, then press the VALUE knob.
The LCD screen is displayed with all dots white.
2.
Press the VALUE knob.
The LCD screen is displayed with all dots black.
3.
Verify that the LCD screen is switched white or black with each time the
VALUE knob is pressed.
4.
Press EXIT to return to the TEST MODE menu screen and verify that OK
is displayed at the right of 7:LCD.
8:REMOTE

D-SUB 9-pin (female)
1.
In the TEST MODE menu, select 8:REMOTE, then press the VALUE
knob.
2.
Touch GND and pin No. 1 of the TALLY/GPI connector with the tester
and verify that they do not have continuity.
* Pins of the TALLY/GPI connector viewed from the rear side are arranged as
shown in the figure below.

3.
In the state of step 2 press and hold PGM/A 1 and verify that they have
continuity while PGM/A 1 is pressed.
