Verifying the Version

The version can be verified in the Test Mode. Refer to 1:VERSION (p. 17)
in the Test Mode.
Data Backup and Restore
Operations
Items Required
• USB memory device
Formatting a USB Memory Device
* Before using a USB memory device to backup the data, update the system or in
the Test mode, be sure first to format it following the procedure below.
1.
Start the V-60HD normally.
2.
Connect the USB memory device to the USB MEMORY connector.
3.
Press MENU.
4.
Turn the VALUE knob to select 14:USB MEMORY -> FORMAT and
press the VALUE knob. To cancel it, press EXIT.
SURE? NO YES appears.
5.
Turn the VALUE knob to highlight YES and press the VALUE knob.
Formatting is executed.
When COMPLETE appears, formatting has finished.
Backup Procedure
1.
Start the V-60HD normally.
2.
Connect the USB memory device to the USB MEMORY connector.
* Follow the procedure in Formatting a USB Memory Device (p. 16) to
format the USB memory device.
3.
Press MENU.
4.
Turn the VALUE knob to select 14:USB MEMORY -> SAVE AS PRESET
and press the VALUE knob.
5.
While ENTER is highlighted, press the VALUE knob.
The USB SAVE AS screen appears.
6.
Enter the file name.
6-1. Turn the VALUE knob to move the cursor.
Moving the cursor to the location where no character is present
increases the number of characters.
6-2. Press the VALUE knob to highlight the character at the cursor
location.
6-3. Turn the VALUE knob to change the character and press the
VALUE knob.
* Press EXIT to delete the character at the cursor location.
* Up to 9 characters can be entered.
* The extension of the file name is .V06.
7.
After entering the file name, turn the VALUE knob to select SAVE, then
press the VALUE knob. To cancel it, press EXIT.
SURE? NO YES appears.
8.
Turn the VALUE knob to highlight YES and press the VALUE knob.
The file (****.V06) is saved to the USB memory device.
When COMPLETE appears, the backup operation has finished.
9.
Detach the USB memory device and reset the power.

Restore Procedure
1.
Start the V-60HD normally.
2.
Connect the USB memory device containing the backed-up V-60HD
preset file (****.V06) to the USB MEMORY connector.
3.
Press MENU.
4.
Turn the VALUE knob to select 14:USB MEMORY -> LOAD PRESET
and press the VALUE knob.
5.
While ENTER is highlighted, press the VALUE knob.
The USB LOAD screen appears.
6.
Select the V-60HD preset file (****.V06) and press the VALUE knob.
To cancel it, press EXIT.
SURE? NO YES appears.
7.
Turn the VALUE knob to highlight YES and press the VALUE knob.
When COMPLETE appears, the restore operation has finished.
8.
Detach the USB memory device and reset the power.

Performing a Factory Reset

1.
Start the V-60HD normally.
2.
Press MENU.
3.
Turn the VALUE knob to select 16:SYSTEM -> FACTORY RESET and
press the VALUE knob. To cancel it, press EXIT.
SURE? NO YES appears.
4.
Turn the VALUE knob to highlight YES and press the VALUE knob.
The factory reset is executed.
When COMPLETE appears, the factory reset has finished.
5.
Switch off the power.

Updating the System

Items Required
• Computer
• USB memory device
• Update file (obtained via Service Net)
1.
Follow the procedure in Formatting a USB Memory Device (p. 16) to
format the USB memory device.
2.
Copy the update file (V-60HD.PRG) to the root directory of the USB
memory device.
3.
Connect the USB memory device to the USB MEMORY connector.
4.
Hold down PinP 1, SPLIT and AUX/MEMORY 1 and switch on the
power to the unit.
* Continue to hold down the buttons until SYSTEM UPDATE [ENTER] TO
UPDATE appears on the screen.
5.
Press the VALUE knob.
The system update is executed.
8 buttons from PGM/A 1 to 8 flash in sequence and the update starts.
As the update proceeds, 8 buttons change to lighting in sequence from
the left.
When 8 buttons all light up and COMPLETE PLEASE RESTART
appears, the update has finished.
6.
Detach the USB memory device and reset the power.
