(Caution) 1. In the case the needle thread is left on the right side of the material when using thick thread,
it is necessary to change the set value of function setting number 152 to "320 - 350". After
the change, the time during which the thread is clamped will be longer, and it will be easier
to pull the needle thread under the material. (Default value: 290)
2. In the case the thread clamp function is set to ON state when the AK device is used, the mi-
cro-lifter function of the AK device is enabled at the start of sewing. The needle thread can
be drawn under the reverse side of the material by slightly floating the the presser foot. If
you do not need this function, set the function setting number 177 to "0". (Default value: 42)
3. When using the thread clamp device, make sure that
its ON state (the lamp stays on). The soft-start function can be turned ON/OFF by pressing
switch .
1. The amount of uplift of the presser foot above the throat plate varies according to the
material thickness of the item to be sewn and the presser foot pressure. Be sure to check the
actual condition before starting sewing.
2. If the adjustment value of the operating time of the AK85B is increased while the presser
foot pressure is high, the operating noise will become larger. Adjust the adjustment value of
the operating time of the AK85B and the pressure foot pressure while visually checking the
needle thread.
