Telephone operation

Save a call log entry to the directory

Using the handset:
Select a desired entry in the call log (see Review the call log on page 57).

When the desired entry appears, press the SAVE softkey. The screen

shows EDIT NUMBER.

Use the dialing keys (0-9) to edit the number.
Press OFF to backspace and erase a digit.
Press and hold OFF to return to the idle mode.

Use the dialing keys (see page 7) to edit the name.
Press OFF to backspace and erase a character.

Press OFF to exit to the previous menu.

Press the PAUSE softkey to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).

If you try to save a call log entry to the directory that is already saved in
the directory, the telephone base or handset shows Already saved.
If you try to save a call log entry without caller ID information, the telephone
base or handset shows Unable to save.
