Select to select the required radio profile, or
press the Menu Select button directly below
Exit to exit the screen without making any
changes.
The radio returns to the Home screen. The profile
name on the Home screen indicates the current
selected radio profile.
Toggling the Day or Night Display Mode
allows you to toggle between Day or Night Mode.
Press
to toggle between Day or Night Mode of
the display.
The last selected mode can be saved during
power off and reloaded upon radio power up if
preprogrammed.
Selecting the Stealth Mode
Press
to toggle Stealth Mode on or off. Pressing
disables the radio's backlight, LED and tones if
preprogrammed. The radio reverts back to the current
profile settings once the Stealth Mode is off.
Perform one of the following actions:

Press
to enable the radio's backlight, LED
and tones.
•
Press
to disable the radio's backlight, LED
and tones.
Stealth Mode profile setting can also be saved
during power off, and reloaded upon radio power
up if preprogrammed.
Controlling the Display Backlight
You can enable or disable the radio's display
backlight as needed, if poor light conditions make the
display or keypad difficult to read.
Turning the Keypad Tones On or Off
You can enable and disable keypad tones as needed.
•
Turning the tones on or off via the preprogrammed
Keypad Mute button:
a) To turn the tones off or on, press the
preprogrammed Keypad Mute button.
