27 • Loosen the battery compartment safety screw.
28 • Remove the tabs on the sides pulling them
outwards.
29 • Lower the entire front unit.
30 • Connect the two system/battery terminals. The
vehicle is ready for use.
FEATURES AND USE OF THE VEHICLE
31 • A: HORN. The horn sounds by pressing the
yellow central part.
B: TOY-KEY. This is a toy key and will not activate
the vehicle.
C: HANDLE. This handle is for the passenger's
extra safety during the use of the vehicle.
32 • CUP HOLDER. The vehicle is equipped with two
cup and can holders on the two front
mudguards.
33 • ELECTRIC ACCELERATOR/BRAKE PEDAL. Lift
the foot from the pedal to engage the brake
automatically.
34 • The tip-up caisson can hold objects for a
maximum weight of 30 kg. To tip the caisson,
release the lock by pulling the red ring and lift.
35 • The caisson has a backboard, which you can
open by pressing the central handle.
36 • GEAR LEVER. The gear lever has three positions.
Press the lever down to activate the reverse
gear; pull it up to activate the second gear.
WARNING! Only first and reverse gear work
when the vehicle has just been taken out from its
package. See steps 37 and 38 to activate the
second gear.
37 • Loosen the safety screw to unlock the second
gear.
38 • Fit second gear block into the second hole as
shown in the figure. Now you can use the
second gear too. If you do not want your child
to use second gear, place second gear block into
the first hole.

39 • Open the battery compartment as shown in
figures 27-29.
Disconnect the two terminals by pressing on
their sides.
40 • Remove the battery holder.
41 • Remove the battery and replace it with a new
one.
42 • Reconnect terminals A and B, reposition the
battery holder, and close the battery
compartment.
43 • WARNING! Remember to fasten the battery
compartment door with the screw.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
WARNING: BATTERY CHARGING AND EVERY
OTHER OPERATION ON THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY ADULTS
ONLY.
THE BATTERY CAN ALSO BE CHARGED
WITHOUT REMOVING IT FROM THE TOY.
44 • Disconnect the wiring unit terminal A from
battery terminal B, pressing on the sides. Remove
the battery holder.
45 • Insert the battery charger terminal into a
domestic power socket following the instructions
attached. Connect terminal B and battery
charger terminal C.
46 • Once the battery is charged, remove the battery
charger from the domestic socket, and then
disconnect terminal C from terminal B. Insert
battery terminal B into terminal A, pushing until
it clicks into place. Always remember to insert
the battery holder, close and fasten the
compartment when you have finished.
