2.4 Clear Password (*Available for a Storage Device or HDD
with a password Pre-installed)
This feature allows the user to clear the user password that has been previously installed
in a storage device or HDD.
To use this feature, from the Supermicro Security Erase submenu, select Security Function
of a disk drive that has a password that has been previously installed as shown below and
press <Enter> to invoke the Security Function popup dialogue box.

Select the Clear Password option from the Security Function popup submenu as shown
above and press <Enter>. When the following screen displays, select Password and enter
the password that has previously set for this HDD as shown below and press <Enter>.
