Vertical print alignment

Alignment is necessary when adjacent printed lines of text or graphics are
not vertically aligned. The following procedure requires pin feed paper and
the printer set to tractor mode.
1.
Set printer to Tractor Mode and load pin feed paper. Turn printer power
switch to OFF position.
2.
Press and hold the LOAD/EJECT and the TEAR PAPER keys while
turning ON the printer power switch to enter alignment parameters.
3.
Verify ONLINE LED is lit, press, and hold LOAD/EJECT and the TEAR
PAPER keys, the printer will print current alignment.
4.
ADJUSTMENT ~
Settings potentially requiring adjustment: DP2(S), 60 DPI(S),
90 DPI(S), 120 DPI(S) and 180 DPI(S). Ten adjustments in total.
Press "LOAD/EJECT" key to optimize the odd print line to the
(original parameter values increase with each key press). Proceed
to step 5.
Press "LF/FF" key to optimize the odd print line to the
parameter values decrease with each key press). Proceed
to step 5.
Note: objective is to optimize vertical alignment; total column alignment
may not be possible.
5.
Press ONLINE key to save current settings and print out new alignment.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until satisfied with alignment.
6.
Press TEAR PAPER key to advance to next alignment.
7.
Repeat steps 4~7 to increment through each vertical setting.
8.
Turn Printer OFF the printer power to exit vertical alignment mode.
