• Keep the charger clean and
away from wet and rain. Do not
use the charger outdoors. Dirt
and the entry of water increase
the risk of electric shock.
• The charger may only be used
with the corresponding recharge-
able batteries of the X 20 V TEAM
series. Charging other batteries
can lead to injuries and the risk
of fire.
• Avoid mechanical damage to the
charger. This can result in internal
short circuits.
• The charger must not be operated
on or in the immediate vicinity of
flammable surfaces (e.g. paper,
textiles). Risk of fire due to heating
caused by charging.
• If the power cable for this equip-
ment is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, a cus-
tomer service agent of the same
or a similarly qualified person in
order to prevent hazards.
• The battery of your device is only
partially pre-charged and must be
properly charged for the first time
before use. Connect the charger
to the mains and insert the battery
in the base.
• Pull the mains plug when the bat-
tery is fully charged and discon-
nect the battery from the charger.
• Do not use the charger to charge
non-rechargeable batteries. The
device could become damaged.

Charging Process

Do not expose the battery to extre-
me conditions such as heat or im-
pact. Risk of injury from escaping
electrolytic solution! After eye/skin
contact, rinse the affected areas with
water or a neutraliser and consult a
doctor.
Charge the battery in a dry room
only. Prior to attaching the charger,
check that the battery's outer surface
is clean and dry. There is a risk of in-
jury due to electric shock.
Switch off the device and remove
the battery before carrying out any
maintenance work.
The rechargeable battery only
reaches its full capacity once it has
been charged several times.
• Charge the battery before the first time
of use. Do not briefly recharge the batte-
ry several times in a row.
• Only charge with the originally supplied
charger.
• If a fully recharged battery lasts for con-
siderably shorter operating times, the
battery is used up and needs to be re-
placed. Only use an OEM spare battery
available from our Online-Shop
(www.grizzlytools.shop).
• Always take heed of the applicable
safety instructions as well as the environ-
mental protection regulations and infor-
mation.
• The warranty excludes all defects caused
by improper handling.
