Description
The loaded paper is not
proper for the Print Head
Alignment.
The automatic head
cleaning has been
performed but the nozzles
are still clogged.
(This message appears if
the automatic head
cleaning has been
performed three times
(maximum) when starting
print.)
The automatic head
cleaning when starting
print has been performed
one or two times, but the
nozzles are still clogged.
This message continues to
appear until the clogged
nozzles are cleaned. But
you can continue to print
during that time.
There is not enough ink to
perform cleaning.
There is not enough space
in the maintenance tank
to perform cleaning.
There is not enough ink to
perform cleaning.
There is not enough ink to
perform cleaning.
No ink cartridge is
installed or the ink
cartridge may not fit.
The ink cartridge is
expended.

What to do
Press the button to clear the error. Press the
button to release the paper presser, and then load the
paper that matches with the media type selected for the
Print Head Alignment.

Press the button to clear the error, and perform
cleaning again.

If the cleaning does not start, stop the printing from the
computer, and turn the printer off and on again.
Print the nozzle check pattern and check if there are
missing dots on the nozzle check pattern. If there are
missing dots, perform head cleaning.

appears. Replace the ink cartridge with a new one to
continue cleaning.
