Cabling the Media Card

Introduction
The following components are required for cabling the Media Card:
1 A0852632 L-adapter (shielded 50-pin key telephone to 9D Sub and Twin

RJ-45 adapter)
1 NTVQ83AA (A0870556) ITG EMC shielding kit

1 NTAG81 PC maintenance cable
!
1 Category 5 10-Base-T Ethernet standard cable
!
Media Card Adapter Nortel Server Subnet (L-adapter)
The adapter shown in Figure 2 on page 19 breaks out the signals from the I/O
connector on small and large systems to the following:
Customer LAN port (Nortel Server Subnet)

one RS-232 port
!
Note: The Nortel Server Subnet (formerly known as CLAN) network interface
port is connected to the port labeled ELAN on the L-adapter.
