Installing a new Software Communication System
After you power on the server, your Software Communication System (SCS) is ready to configure. A setup wizard guides you through
the configuration. If you make a mistake during the installation, reboot the SCS and log on to the Linux Shell. From the Linux command
line, type the following to restart the setup wizard:
./sipx_reset_cd
To configure SCS, perform the following steps:
Before you configure SCS, you are prompted to log on.
1 Log on with the following credentials and press Enter after each entry:
Username: root
Password: setup
After you log on, the setup wizard automatically starts.
2 On the dialog box that appears, press Enter to start SCS configuration.
3 To choose whether your system runs in High Availability (HA) mode, use Tab or your mouse to navigate among options. When you
highlight the correct option, press Enter.
Depending on the option you select, different installation options appear. If you select No HA System, continue to perform the steps in
