Known Issues
The following issues are known to exist with the BayStack 820 ISDN Router:
SNMP trap messages are not supported in this release. If you want to use
SNMP traps, contact the Nortel Networks Technical Solutions Center for a
version of the firmware that supports SNMP traps. For details, refer to "How
to Get Help" on page 5.
Netscape Communicator, version 4.72 and newer, is not compatible with the
BayStack ISDN Router Manager running on versions 1.29, 1.32 and 1.33 of
the BayStack 820 firmware.
For Netscape Communicator, version 4.72 or newer, an incompatible data
format is used for initializing an HTTP query. The router administrator will
encounter an error message after entering the system login password and
cannot successfully communicate with the BayStack.
This problem will be fixed in a future release of the BayStack 820 firmware.
Until then, please use Netscape Communicator, version 4.5, or Internet
Explorer, version 5.0 or newer for BayStack 820 management.
