Safety instructions
2.3 Hazards during transport, mounting, operation and maintenance
• Note the weight of the charging station.
• Only transport the charging station in a vertical position.
• The forks of the forklift must protrude at the back of the transport pallet or, if the pallet
has already been removed, at the back of the charging station.

When working at an elevated height, watch out for falling parts, cables or plugs.

Work areas

Tripping and slipping hazards
Keep work areas clean and tidy to prevent tripping and slipping.
Accident hazards
Avoid accidents, personal injury and damage to vehicles and the charging station. Examples
of accident hazards are:
• Inattention
• Tripping and slipping hazards
• Vandalism
Provide additional protective measures, such as:
• Warning signs
• Safe location of the charging station
• Barriers
• Training of drivers and operators
• Sufficient lighting
Safety area for installation
Create a safety area around the installation area with warning signs and barriers.

Risk of crushing or cuts

When mounting, look out for moving parts and protruding cables and bolts.
2.3.8

Risk of injury due to hot surfaces

After opening the front door or a cover plate, you can come into contact with hot surfaces.
This applies, for example, to the area of the converter or copper busbar. Before starting work,
wait at least 10 minutes after switching off the charging station until all hot surfaces have
cooled down.
