3.2.2 Multi-Mode Fiber

This section describes the structure and technical specifications of the multi-mode fiber.
The NetBackup 5200 communicates with the FC switch through a multi-mode fiber. One end
of the multi-mode fiber connects to the 10GE service network port or FC port , and the other
end connects to the FC switch or the tape library. The two ends of the multi-mode fiber are LC
connectors.
