Connecting to PCS
The Extron Product Configuration Software window opens with the Device Discovery
panel open. Connect to the device using the Device Discovery panel.
Device Discovery Panel
The Device Discovery panel displays accessible Extron devices connected directly to the
PC or to a LAN. Devices are identified and sorted by model, IP address, device name, or
connection method.

Connect the control PC to the device. The Windows-based PCS communicates with
the device via the rear panel configuration port with a standard USB-B port.
Open the Product Configuration Software program from the desktop shortcut. The
Extron PCS window opens to the Device Discovery panel (see figure 14).

Select the DAC 102 device by clicking on it to highlight it in the list (

). The DAC 102 device tab and main screen opens (see figure 15).
