5-4. RESOLVING POWER ADJUSTMENT
By the result of Resolving Power Check, adjustment to be performed
is different.
If only one side are blurred:
Performe the "(1) B4 Frame Service Assy Adjustment" and the
"(2) G17 Frame Service Assy Adjustment" of the "5-4-1. Partial
Blur Adjustment".
If all around is blurred:
Performe the "5-4-2. Curvature Adjustment (1 group frame ser-
vice assy)" or the "5-4-3. Curvature Adjustment (mount service
assy)".
5-4-1. Partial Blur Adjustment
(1) B4 Frame Service Assy Adjustment
Note: Partial Blur Adjustment (B4 Frame Service Assy Adjustment) is
done by moving the positioning of the B4 frame.
Refer to "2-2. DISASSEMBLY", disassemble the lens, and
move the positioning of the B4 frame.

Adjustment Procedure

1. Remove the mirror rear tube service assy and peel off the adhesive
of the B4 frame and the G17 frame service assy, referring to the
"2. DISASSEMBLY".
2. Loosen the three screws to fixing the B4 frame.
3. Assemble up to the mount service assy without attaching the
mirror rear tube service assy, referring to the "2-3. ASSEMBLY".
4. Insert a thin flathead screwdriver to the hole of the lens side and
moving the lens (B4 frame) little by little. (Coarse Adjustment)
Perform the check and adjustment repeatedly until the partial
blur is resolved.
Note: If a fl athead screwdriver cannot be inserted to the hole
of the lens side well, remove the lens to be tested from
the Lens Test Projector (or camera) and insert it from the
mount side.
5. If the partial blur is resolved, remove the rear tube block, refer-
ring to the "2-2. DISASSEMBLY".
6. Tighten the three screws loosened at step 2.
7. Perform the "(2) G17 Frame Service Assy Adjustment" continu-
ously.
