5-4-2. Curvature Adjustment (1 group frame service
assy)
Note: Curvature Adjustment (1 group frame service assy) is done by
increasing or decreasing the thickness of the washer.
Refer to "2-2. DISASSEMBLY", disassemble the lens, and
change the thickness of the washer.
Adjusting Procedure
1. Set the zoom to the TELE end.
2. Increase or decrease the thickness of the 1 group spacer washer
to adjust the curvature.
Front focus: Make the washer thicker.
Rear focus: Make the washer thinner.

3. Perform the check and adjustment repeatedly until the curvature
is resolved.
Note: If the curvature cannot be resolved even after the adjust-
ment, replace the 1 group frame service assy.

2. Increase or decrease the thickness of the FB washer to adjust the
curvature.
Front focus: Make the washer thicker.
Rear focus: Make the washer thinner.

3. Perform the check and adjustment repeatedly until the curvature
