5-5-3. Method of Starting and Finishing
(1) Starting the E-Mount Lens Adjustment
* Make sure to disconnect the AC adaptor after finishing the adjustment
(including the case when stops due to an error).
* SeusEX will start when the E-Mount Lens Adjustment is started.
Procedure of Starting
1. Set the Shooting Mode of the camera to the P mode (Program
Auto), then turn the power on.
2. Start the E-Mount Lens Adjustment.
3. The camera selection window opens, and select "NEX-5".
Note: Only NEX-5 cameras are available for the adjustment of the
unit.
4. Click the [Connect] button and check that the connection status
becomes "Connect".

(2) Finishing the E-Mount Lens Adjustment
Procedure of Finishing
1. Click the [Disconnect] button and check that the connection
status becomes "Disconnect".

2. Click the [] button on the upper right of the main window to
finish the E-Mount Lens Adjustment.
3. Turn off the power of camera.
4. Disconnect the AC adaptor.
5-5-4. Adjustment Method of Each Item
(1) Lens Device (S)
• Adjust the MR sensor of focus.
• Adjust the mechanical end of focus and zoom.
• Adjust the focusing ring.

Preparations
In the "Lens Device (S)", it is necessary to rotate the focusing ring
in accurately 360 degree (1 revolution) when checking. Please stick
the tape etc. for checking the initial position of the focusing ring
Tape etc.
Adjusting Method
1. Click the [Lens Device (S)] button in the Adjustment and Inspec-
tion.
2. "FOCUS MR ADJ START" is displayed, press the ENTER key.
3. Automatically starts the focus MR adjustment.
4. After the focus MR adjustment is completed, automatically starts
the mechanical end adjustment.
