6–1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter provides service adjustment procedures for the RTfino/RT3200 Advantage–II/RT–x200. Adjustments
should be made only when necessary.
6–2 LOW VOLTAGE (+/– 5 VDC, +12 VDC) POWER SUPPLY ADJUSTMENT
These supply voltages should be adjusted under load; therefore leave all cards and the TV monitor connected.
Procedure:
1.
Remove the rear cover to gain access to the power supply area. Unscrew six screws shown in Illustration 6–2;
then remove rear cover.
2.
To gain access to power supply adjustment potentiometers, remove eight screws fastening cover of power
supply. (See Illustration 6–3).
3.
Move the cover to the side, ensuring no damage to the wires. Gently, pull out the plastic shields on the terminal
blocks.
4.
Connect a DVM with 100,000 ohms/volt isolation, minimum, to the 5 vdc monitor points on the terminal block,
TB–1. (See Illustration 6–1). Turn system on.
5.
Adjust the 5 vdc potentiometer for 5.20 vdc (+/– 0.05 vdc).
6.
Reconnect DVM to –5 vdc monitor points on terminal block, TB–4. (See Illustration 6–1).
7.
Adjust –5 vdc potentiometer for –5.00 vdc (+/– 0.05 vdc).
8.
Reconnect DVM to +12 vdc monitor points on Terminal Block,TB–2. (See Illustration 6–1).
9.
Adjust +12 vdc potentiometer for 12.10 vdc (+/– 0.10 vdc). Adjustments are complete.
