A/C Compressor Button
Press
to turn the air condition-
ing compressor on.
The indicator light should turn on.
The system will cool and dehumid-
ify the air entering the vehicle.
Press the knob again to turn this
feature off.
Press
again to turn the compres-
sor off.
Because the compressor of the
cooling system shares the engine
power, you may notice a slight
change in engine power and
performance when the compres-
sor operates.
When the temperature is above
freezing, the air conditioning
compressor will run in demist and
defrost modes to help remove
moisture from the air.

NOTE:
If you try to activate the air
conditioning compressor while
the climate control system is
off, the indicator light on the
knob will flash to let you know
that the function will not
operate.
You may notice water drip under
the engine sometimes after driving
with air conditioning on. This is
normal because your cooling
system removes moisture from the
air.
Recirculation
Press
to recirculate the air in
your vehicle. This is useful for
keeping dust and odours out or
when quick cooling is desired.
The indicator light should turn on.
When the recirculation function is
turned on, the air conditioning
compressor will turn on
automatically.
Press
again to turn off the recir-
culation feature and circulate
outside air into your vehicle.
The recirculation function cannot
be activated in the Heating, Heat-
ing/Demisting or Defrosting
modes.
The recirculation feature may acti-
vate automatically when it is hot
outside and quick cooling is
needed.
