2. Pull the cushion forward until
it rests in the foot-well.
3. Lift the latch on top of the
seatback.
4. Pull the seatback forward and
fold it down until it is flat.
You may need to move the
front seat forward or raise the
front seatback to the upright
position in order for the seat-
back to fold down flat.
5. Repeat the procedure for the
other side of the seat.

Unfolding the Seat
CAUTION
A seat that is not locked in place
properly could move during a
sudden stop or collision. People
in the vehicle could be injured.
Make sure the seat is locked in
place.
CAUTION
A safety belt that is twisted or
improperly attached or routed
won't provide the protection
needed in a crash. After install-
ing a seat, always make sure
that the safety belts are not
twisted and that they are prop-
erly attached and routed.
