Area of application
The SIMATIC Ident CB Gate is a multi-component system which was designed specifically for
the detection, identification and tracking of the objects tagged with transponders in conveyor
systems. The system is based on components of the SIMATIC RF600 product family. It is an
identification system in the UHF range which enables identification of passive transponders
over large distances.
The CB Gate is available in three versions:
• With one read point and two antennas (top) for simple coverage
• With one read point and four antennas (top and bottom) for two-sided coverage
• With two read points and four antennas (top and bottom) for two-sided coverage
The Gate allows detection of all objects equipped with a UHF transponder which supports the
communication protocols ISO 18000-62, ISO 18000-63.
