Rebooting the System

Upon login, the SafeMode GUI opens to Firmware Management. The Restart System item is to the upper
right.

Upgrading Firmware

To upload new firmware:
1. Click Upload Firmware and locate new firmware. Firmware upgrades are available through
www.MySonicWall.com.

2. Having downloaded an image from MySonicWall to your PC, upload using the dialog. The image
then appears in the table of Firmware Images. From there, you can choose to install it using the
current configuration or opt to use the default settings.
To boot new firmware:
1. Select the option as shown below and boot.
The upload and boot process takes only about two minutes.
