If there is a problem with the hands-free system or a Bluetooth phone, first check the table below.
XWhen using the hands-free system with a Bluetooth phone
Symptom
The hands-free system or Bluetooth
phone does not work.
*: For details, refer to the owner's manual that came with the cellular phone.
Likely cause
The connected Bluetooth phone may
not be a compatible Bluetooth cellular
phone.
The Bluetooth version of the connected
cellular phone may be older than the
specified version.
Solution
For a list of specific Bluetooth phones
which operation has been confirmed on
this system.
For USA customers, please visit
www.subaru.com for details.
Outside of the USA customers,
contact your local dealer to arrange
a demonstration in order to confirm
whether or not the phone can be paired
with the vehicle.
Use a cellular phone with Bluetooth
version 2.1 or higher.
Recommended: Ver. 5.0 or higher
